Our Camps
The Southeastern District Church of the Brethren (SEDCOB) Outdoor Ministries Camping Program is one united, faith-based camping program with two beautiful locations, Camp Carmel in mountainous Linville, NC and Camp Placid in tranquil Blountville, TN. Each of our locations offers a variety of affordable sleep-away camps for all ages. All of our camps are hosted by our churches and provide opportunities for spiritual growth, outdoor immersion, and community building.
Each of our camps aim to enrich campers in a variety of ways, through Bible studies, group games, service projects, outdoor activities, and more. Campers will develop lasting relationships with positive leaders and peers who encourage them in their daily walks.

Find Your Camp
Each location offers multiple camping options for different age groups. To find the camp that best fits your needs, check out the dates at either Camp Carmel or Camp Placid.
Registration and Forms
To register, complete the Camper Registration Form, Medical Record and Authorization Form, and Photo and Liability Release Form. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Coronavirus Waiver is required for the 2022 season. Forms can be mailed or emailed to respective camp managers at the following addresses:
